In May 2020, Beijing National Accounting Institute signed a research partnership agreement with the taxation department of the Ministry of Finance to undertake the effect evaluation of some preferential tax policies. Professor Li Xuhong, director of the Institute of Finance and Taxation Policy and Application, and head of the Big Data Taxation Laboratory, presided over the research project.

According to the agreement, the Institute of Finance and Taxation Policy and Application of BNAI will assist the taxation department of the Ministry of Finance in designing the evaluation index system of tax preference and the data sampling method of evaluation samples, as well as compiling the evaluation report of tax preference policy. Under the guidance of the taxation department of the Ministry of Finance, BNAI will further tap the potential of big data tax analysis, provide decision-making reference, and serve the core work of public finance.
