From September 19 to 23, entrusted by the Central Organization Department, the Ministry of Finance held the 2022 special seminar on the establishment of a modern fiscal and taxation system (the prefectural and municipal level) at Beijing National Accounting Institute. Xu Hongcai, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Finance, gave lectures to the students on the topic of "Accelerating the Establishment of a Modern Financial System", and held talks and exchanges with the trainees. Zhu Zhongming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Finance, attended the opening ceremony and gave the first lecture on the topic of "in-depth study and implementation of President Xi Jinping's important expositions on financial work and continuous promotion of new achievements in financial work". Thirty city (prefecture and league) governors in charge of financial work from 22 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government attended the training.

Through the five-day study, discussion and exchange, these local party and government leaders who participated in the training not only deepened their understanding and grasp of the Party Central Committee's strategic deployment and task requirements for establishing a modern fiscal and taxation system, but also further strengthened their confidence and determination to promote the reform of the fiscal and taxation system with solid actions.
