From October 29 to 30, the second Forum on Accounting Integrity and High-quality Development was held at Beijing National Accounting Institute. The forum was held both online and offline, and more than 20,000 people watched it live online.

Zhu Zhongming, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Finance, attended the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered a speech. He pointed out that accounting integrity is not only an indispensable part of building a social integrity system, but also an important basis for social integrity. The accounting industry should firmly grasp the theme of serving the national construction and the main line of integrity construction, scientifically plan and promote the future construction of accounting integrity, and take practical actions to promote the long-term healthy development of the accounting profession.

This Forum is a "trinity" platform created by BNAI for "the release of integrity construction policies, the display of integrity achievements, and the exchange of research by integrity think tanks". On the basis of the successful holding of the first forum last year, this year's forum, with the theme of "the construction of accounting integrity system and high-quality development", was jointly organized by BNAI, the Accounting Department and the Bureau of Supervision and Evaluation of the Ministry of Finance, the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Accounting Society of China. Representatives from the government, universities, industry organizations, enterprises, institutions and international organizations conducted discussions and exchanges on policy, academic and practical issues around the theme of the forum. During the forum, the Code of Professional Ethics for Accountants (Draft for Opinions) formulated by the Accounting Department of the Ministry of Finance and the Report on the Development of Accounting Integrity Construction in China (2021) edited by BNAI were issued.
